Royal Decree No. 99/2007 merges Sohar Refinery Company LLC with Oman Oil Refinery Company LLC and amends Royal Decree No. 7/82 establishing Oman Oil Refinery Company LLC. Article 1 of the decree merges Sohar Refinery Company LLC with Oman Oil Refinery Company LLC in accordance with the provisions of Commercial Companies Law. The company name after the merger will be Omani Refineries Petrochemicals Company LLC. Article 2 of the decree says the retirement system implemented at Oman Oil Refinery Company LLC shall be applicable to employees transferred from Sohar Refinery Co. LLC. Article 3 of the decree says the company’s memorandum of incorporation and articles of association shall be amended as per the provisions of this decree. Article 4 of the decree says the attached amendments shall be introduced to the aforesaid Royal Decree No. 7/82. Article 5 of the decree cancels all that contradicts or contravenes with the provisions of the decree. Article 6 of the decree says the decree takes effect from the day following its publication date.

Royal Decree No. 100/2007 amends some provisions of the Social Security Law. Article 1 of the decree says the attached amendments shall be introduced to the aforesaid Social Security Law. Article 2 of the decree cancels all that contradicts or contravenes with its provisions. Article 3 of the decree says the decree takes effect from the day following its publication date.
